Papa Schools
Woman Bazaar is a multidisciplinary festival that has been held for 3 years. The main goal is to help vulnerable groups of women - those who have lost their parents, those with disabilities, displaced people, victims of domestic violence, etc to support the sustainable initiatives and entrepreneurial activities of the representative women, to accelerate their reintegration into the society, as well as to boost the expansion of support mechanisms along with increasing their knowledge and skills to ensure the sustainability of existing activities.
Papa Schools in Azerbaijan is a long-term project dedicated on transformation of responsible fatherhood based on International Papa School Manual. The main goal of the project is undertaking and transforming the current traditional behaviours and gender-based stereotypes in families by targeting the male groups that prepare fathers-­to-­be and teaching fathers to be actively engaged in their children's upbringing following the principles of shared equal responsibility with children's mothers. During the eight-week Papa School courses, the trained experts and facilitators delivered a range of sessions on gender-based discrimination and violence related issues in Azerbaijan. Training sessions took place in varius regions around Azerbaijan such as Sumgait, Lankaran, Mingachevir, Gakh,Tovuz, Ganja and etc.
